Configuration

Servers and network equipment is setup and tested off site and users and preferences are configured in advance. This reduces our engineers' time on site and minimises disruption to your business by making the equipment as "plug and play" as possible.

Hot Testing

If a piece of IT equipment is going to break it's more than likely to be within the first 24 hours of use, our engineers run all your equipment through comprehensive test cycles before we even deliver it on site.

Will our staff lose access to systems during the installation?

We plan installations carefully to minimise disruption and, where possible, do most configuration work off site before equipment arrives. Any unavoidable downtime is agreed in advance and often scheduled out of hours.

Yes. Evening and weekend work is common for larger changes so you can come in on Monday to a working system, rather than watching engineers in the middle of the day.

No. We’re happy to install equipment you’ve bought yourself or through existing suppliers. The key is that we have enough information to configure and test it properly. Where you want a single point of contact, we can also supply kit through our IT Equipment service.

Yes. As part of the handover, we provide clear documentation on what’s been installed, how it’s configured and any changes made to your environment. This makes ongoing support and future changes much easier.

We test and certify new cabling runs using appropriate test equipment and can provide results for your records, landlords or auditors, along with manufacturer warranty where applicable.
